Our Heritage
Founded in 2005 by husband and wife duo Derek and Veronica Mills, Dereon Jeans started as a small business run out of their home. Derek worked in fashion manufacturing for over 20 years and saw an opportunity to start his own denim label. Veronica handled marketing, sales, and operations.
Within a few short years, Dereon Jeans gained a cult following for their signature embellished back pocket designs and focus on fit. We like to say our jeans make your backside look amazing!
In 2010, we opened our flagship store and company headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. We have since expanded across the country, but LA remains our home.

Giving Back
Philanthropy is extremely important to us. That’s why we launched the Dereon Gives Back initiative to support girls’ education and women’s empowerment worldwide.
Each year, we donate a portion of sales to provide scholarships, mentoring programs, and vocational training. We also host an annual fundraising gala with both live and silent auctions.
Our employees volunteer over 3,000 hours every year supporting women’s charities. We sponsor community events like the Mother-Daughter 5K walk and the Girls Leadership Summit.
